WE ARE GETTING READY TO RIDE AGAIN

In anticipation of what events will look like in July, we are committed to hosting guests in our Premium Seating venues from July 9 to 18, 2021. We are working with various levels of government and public health officials on specific safety measures to support the best and safest Stampede possible.

Our Sales, Guest Service and Food & Beverage teams have been creating strategies and making promises to ensure we can get everyone back in the saddle safely. A safe 2021 Stampede is about our community and providing much-needed support to local businesses and contributing to the overall economic recovery of our province.

The Calgary Stampede has a proven track record of delivering safe and exceptional experiences and we are leveraging best practices from other operations and events that have already successfully operated or are planned to take place. Our planning includes the iconic experiences for which the Stampede is known, recognizing the need to remain flexible and adaptable. We expect to share more details as we get closer to July.

We will continue to offer an unprecedented opportunity to corporate host and socialize in an environment that cannot be found anywhere else in the world. As always, we will take the time to understand that which your guests are seeking. We’ll pay attention to every detail of the delivery, taking everyone’s safety and comfort to the next level – so you can focus on what’s most important, enhancing your relationship with your corporate guests or sharing quality time with friends and family.

Whether it’s enjoying the action in the arena in one of our 30 luxury Infield Suites, the fine dining ambience in ranahans or the urban western happenings in The Lazy S, we will work together to exceed our guest’s expectations.

WHAT WE DOING TO HELP KEEP YOU SAFE

Premium Seating has implemented enhanced hygiene and disinfection practices. We’ve considered how to create a safe place to gather. We’ve overhauled best practices including:

  • Arrival and departure experience
  • Health and safety protocols
  • Signage, both inside and outside of the venues
  • Changes to the event experience
  • Food and beverage service style
  • Medical services
  • Hygiene and disinfection practices
  • Employee education and training

With the health and safety of our community a top priority, the Calgary Stampede is planning and preparing to adapt to all public health orders. Under the guidance of Alberta Health Services we will implement the appropriate and most current safety procedures and protocols before welcoming guests.

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU RETURN TO THE VENUES

As part of the Calgary Stampede’s desire to create a functional atmosphere you may notice many changes to the premium venues. Some will be obvious while others will take a bit of getting used to. We know you are used to that being the theme for this last year. The safety of our guests, volunteers and employees are the first priority as we finalize our plans.

GETTING THROUGH THIS TOGETHER

We are working on the details now and look forward welcoming you back to celebrate again. We are committed to ensuring you have information as it comes available to help you have an exceptional and memorable Stampede experience. We appreciate your patience and flexibility as we continue to reimagine some of our service styles and how we execute expectations safely.

Our plans are based on the current situation and the guidelines of our government and public health authorities - pivoting at every turn to ensure we maximize value and create exceptional and memorable experiences. We are committed to keeping you informed as restrictions and our plans change as we go forward.

WHAT'S NEXT?

In the meantime, we want to ensure you are familiar with the basics of how we operate at the Calgary Stampede and what the guests will expect in our venues.

Check out the venue and COVID-19 tabs to see how we are going to put our best boot forward to help keep you and your guests safe and mitigate the risk of COVID-19.
