COVID-19

YOUR SAFETY

Although mandatory masking is no longer required, we still strongly encourage our guests and members to wear a face covering upon entry to our Premium Seating venues. The safety of our guests and employees remains our highest priority.

Our employees will continue to wear masks in all of our venues, and all other current health and safety measures will remain in place, including cleaning and disinfecting protocols, handwashing/sanitizing and physical distancing.

A SAFE PLACE TO GATHER

The Calgary Stampede is committed to a safe gathering and work place for all, operating within Alberta Occupational Health and Safety legislation and in accordance with Alberta Health Services recommendations.

As COVID-19 continues to be an active pandemic, Alberta Health Services has developed provincial guidelines for the relaunch of many industries, including the event industry within the province. We strongly support the government and public health authority’s ongoing efforts to encourage vaccination against COVID-19 to assist in the overall economic recovery of our province.

Frequent contact is maintained with both Alberta Health Services as well as the City of Calgary Emergency Management Agency in order to stay abreast of the ongoing updates.

The Calgary Stampede has implemented important strategies and will continue to follow recommendations to ensure the safety of everyone.

The Government of Canada has developed the COVID Alert app that is a free mobile exposure notification app that helps to let you know if you’ve been exposed to COVID-19 - or if you’ve exposed others - while protecting your privacy. By using this app, health officials are better equipped to quickly identify and tackle the spread of COVID-19. To help stop the spread of COVID-19, download the COVID Alert app on the Apple App Store or Google Play.
